  • Susanne Rabenschlag (Violin)

    Susanne Rabenschlag studied at the Cologne University of Music with Max Rostal and with Dorothy DeLay at the Juilliard School of Music, New York. She is the Verdi Quartett’s co-founder, and has been a professor for violin and chamber music at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Mannheim since 1995.

     
  • Matthias Ellinger (Violin)

    Matthias Ellinger born in France, studied violin and chamber music with Joshua Epstein at the University of Music Saarland in Saarbrücken. After four years with the Saarland State Orchestra, he has been a freelance musician for several years. He has been the Verdi Quartett’s 2nd violin since 2008.

     
  • Karin Wolf (Viola)

    Karin Wolf studied violin in Cologne and viola in Bern and Rostock with Max Rostal and Bruno Giuranna. She teaches viola and chamber music both at the Hochschule fuer Musik und Theater in Rostock and at the Staatliche Hochschule fuer Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Mannheim, and has had an active performing career as a soloist and guest at festivals of chamber music in Europe, Asia and the USA.

     
  • Zoltan Paulich (Cello)

    Zoltan Paulich studied at the Franz Liszt Music Academy in Budapest and at the University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart with Peter Buck. He is solo cellist with the Württemberg State Orchestra in Stuttgart, and is also since 1998 solo cellist of the Bayreuth Festival Orchestra. He bas been the Verdi Quartett’s cellist since 2005.
